Support for Local Businesses

Whether you’re mystified by 5G, or you’re ready to deploy but not quite sure how to procure, ECH is here to help.

Our Innovation Exchange approach is designed to break down the complexity that can exist around advanced connectivity, connecting you to suppliers, and arming you with the skills you need to adopt 5G and unlock untold benefits for your business.

Here’s how we can help:

  • Presenting the potential of 5G: in jargon-free terms with a clear focus on the benefits you can expect.
  • Expert advice: We work closely with and can help you seek guidance from established forums like the UK Telecoms Innovation Network (UKTIN).
  • Sharing best practice and blueprints: Our projects are designed to create common sets of requirements designed to be replicated by others.
  • Connecting you to the supply chain: We’re working closely with suppliers, helping them to better meet your needs, and through an events programme will work to bring you together with the vendors who can realise your ambitions.
  • Grant scheme: Due to launch in Summer 2024, our grants will support both our ECH projects at Harwell and East West Rail, and enable smaller projects to get off the ground across the ECH region. If you’re a farmer who wants to trial automation but needs some support to install devices, or you’re a public sector organisation who wants to initiate small foundation 5G projects around specific use cases, we want to help.
